Green Schools News
At the minute a glance inside the door at a Greenschools meeting reveals a hectic collabrative brain-storming session. That is because right now all our energies are being poured into trying to get our students to win! They want Laptops, Wii’s, Top of the Range Mobile Phones, Quality Cameras and much much more. These are available as Prizes in a competition organised by Sustainable Energy Ireland. This competition is not only open to Greenschools participants but to everybody, so if you want to win just take a photograph that has the idea of ENERGY THE NEXT GENERATION. The teachers first took this to believe it was photos of renewable energy facilities, but the students keep finding fresh ways to re-jig the idea. If you have an idea, take the photo, bring it in and we’ll enter it in for the competition and just maybe you will win yourself a great prize. If you have the idea but no camera, drop in and we’ll help you organize the shot! Log on to Sustainable Energy Ireland, SEI.ie to find out more & also for a look at the previous winners ideas!
